EARTHQUAKE

Breezepod has been tested for earthquake resistance, to date there has been no earthquake strength recorded on the Richter scale which will affect it.

The structure will withstand successfully, an earthquake of 1.25g ground acceleration.

HURRICANE

The 5m Segmented model has been tested and will handle wind strength's of 190km per hour.

The wind speed is corresponding to a category 5 cyclone, defined as extremely dangerous with widespread destruction. With winds over 280km per hour, and to the highest category on the beaufort scale, beaufort 12 (hurricane).

EXTREME TEMPERATURES

The segmented pod has an R value of 4.2

FLOODING

The material absorbs no moisture, and will not rot, is completely washable to restore it's original condition. 

It's wind loading ability also stands in good stead with a strong flow of water, if well anchored.
